Students raise money towards national competition
ROME (WSYR-TV) A group of students in Rome are asking for help in taking their team to the national KidWind Challenge. The group, called the Rome LEAH Wind Hunters built a miniature wind turbine to test power output. The team won first place at both the Mohawk Valley Technology Schowcase at SUNY Polytechnic Institute and the General Electric Competition in Schenectady.

Sioux City students celebrate Earth Day
